The Manager, Product & Content Marketing owns the end-to-end content lifecycle - from ideation and intake through development, approvals, publishing, and maintenance - ensuring all content is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business priorities, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
This position plays a critical role in supporting fund launches, product positioning, solutions marketing, white papers, thought leadership, sales enablement materials, and digital product content. Operating with a builder mindset, the Manager continuously improves workflows, governance, and scalable content processes to strengthen execution across the product marketing function.
A strong understanding of asset management products, investment strategies, and client needs is essential to effectively differentiate products, develop compelling reasons-to-buy, and ensure accuracy and consistency across all marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product and solutions marketing content
• Lead and execute product and solutions marketing content across formats including fund launch materials, white papers, thought leadership, web content, and sales enablement tools
• Build compelling product differentiation and 'reasons to buy' narratives that clearly articulate investment value propositions and competitive positioning
• Translate complex investment concepts, product strategies, and market insights into clear, audience-specific messaging for retail, investor and institutional audiences
• Partner with product, investment, sales and distribution teams to align messaging, priorities and content requirements
• Support the marketing execution of fund launches, product enhancements, and product lifecycle updates
• Ensure all content accurately reflects investment strategies, product details, positioning and market insights
• Maintain consistency of messaging and brand standards across all product and solutions marketing materials
Own end-to-end content development and workflow
• Manage the content lifecycle from ideation and intake through drafting reviews, approvals, publishing, maintenance and retirement
• Work within established content workflows and identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, governance and stakeholder alignment
• Coordinate cross functional reviews with legal, product and distribution stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor and maintain existing content to ensure accuracy, regulatory alignment and ongoing relevance
• Support website and digital content updates related to product and solutions marketing initiatives
Build operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline content creation and workflow processes through automation and AI-enabled tools
• Identify opportunities to improve content governance, workflow visibility, prioritization, and reporting within the product marketing function
• Support consistency, scalability, and operational discipline across product marketing and content development activities
• Contribute to the evolution of product marketing best practices, templates, and standards
• Act as a key partner in improving how product marketing content is planned, developed, published, and maintained across the organization
Qualifications & Experience
• University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance or related discipline
• 5-7 years in product marketing, content marketing, or investment communications
• Experience in financial services or asset management requried
• Proven experience developing product positioning, launch content and investment related marketing materials
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling capabilities with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Strong organizational, project management and prioritization skills
• Experience working in matrixed environments with cross-functional teams
• Experience using workflow, content management, or AI-enabled productivity tools
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $86,500 - $105,000 which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
