About the Role Our client, a visionary automotive technology company, is seeking an exceptional Lead Automotive HMI/UX Designer for a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of HMI/UX concepts for automotive systems, including digital clusters, infotainment screens, and mobile integrations. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions. Translate complex technical requirements into elegant and intuitive user experiences. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and hardware teams to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation. Define and maintain design guidelines and style guides for automotive interfaces. Mentor and guide junior HMI/UX designers. Stay current with emerging trends in UI/UX design, automotive technology, and human factors. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field. 7+ years of professional experience in HMI/UX design, with a significant focus on automotive or complex digital products. Proven experience designing user interfaces for touchscreens, mobile apps, and complex interactive systems. Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure). Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. A portfolio showcasing exceptional HMI/UX design work is required.
