Reporting to the Manager, your role will integrate clinical skills with community engagement to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients and their families. Adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, you will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs while fostering a collaborative team environment. Your commitment to quality improvement and research will enhance overall patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and care evaluations
• Educate families on recovery and wellness strategies
• Work collaboratively in a healthcare team setting
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
• Uphold professionalism in nursing practice
Requirements:
• Registration with the CNO in Ontario
• Essential Vulnerable Sector Check
• Must hold a current BCLS certificate
• Preferred two years in pediatric nursing
• Preferred 6 months Hematology & Oncology experience
