This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence product development from concept to launch, ensuring usability and aesthetic excellence across platforms. A background in user research, usability testing, and information architecture is essential to craft intuitive interfaces that meet user needs and business goals. This role reports to our CPO, Co-Founder. Duties • Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq, and Omnigraffle. • Conduct user research to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations through interviews, surveys, and usability testing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and data analysts to translate requirements into compelling design solutions. • Perform A/B testing and analyze usability data using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and SharePoint to optimize user experience. • Develop information architecture strategies that enhance navigation and content organization for seamless user journeys. • Utilize scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or SQL for data analysis or to support interactive prototypes. • Create detailed documentation of design specifications and maintain design systems aligned with brand standards. • Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, usability principles, and emerging tools to continuously improve design processes. How to apply (yes, this part's a little different) Skip the cover letter. Instead, send us a "Care Before Crisis" mini-brief — a one-pager (Figma, PDF, deck, whatever you like) answering: • Show us, don't tell us: Pick one product or app you use regularly and redesign one small moment in it to feel more proactive/preventative rather than reactive. Sketch it, mock it, whatever — quick and scrappy is great. • In one sentence: What's a piece of your work you're most proud of, and why? • Surprise us: One fun fact, hot take, or weird talent that has nothing to do with design. Join us as a Product Designer to shape innovative digital products that deliver exceptional user experiences through creative design grounded in data-driven insights. Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour Benefits: • On-site parking • Wellness program Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON
