About this role
Overview
This contract role blends business analysis and quality assurance for digital supply chain programs. You will help define clear requirements, make sure business expectations are translated into workable system solutions, and verify that releases perform as expected in live operations. The role serves as a key link among business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations partners.
The assignment runs for 18 months with the possibility of extension and follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Compensation is stated at 65–75 per hour.
Business Analysis
• Run the full requirements lifecycle, covering business, functional, and non-functional needs.
• Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to map and document supply chain activities such as planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory.
• Convert business objectives into structured system requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in coordination with business and delivery stakeholders.
• Spot opportunities to improve and streamline digital supply chain processes.
• Keep traceability intact from the original business need through design, testing, and deployment.
Quality Assurance and Validation
• Create and apply test strategies, testing approaches, and quality expectations that match business requirements.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from functional and process requirements.
• Lead System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing to confirm business readiness.
• Check that delivered solutions meet functional, operational, and performance expectations.
• Track defects, support triage, and work with technical teams to resolve issues.
Systems and Data
• Verify integrations between SAP and other connected systems in the supply chain landscape.
• Review data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist with data analysis, reconciliation, and resolution of issues related to system outputs and reporting.
Deployment and Operational Readiness
• Support go-live planning, readiness checks, and cutover execution.
• Confirm system performance and functionality after deployment.
• Work with operations teams to gather feedback and support continuous improvement.
• Help ensure solutions remain stable, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Requirements
• Experience handling both business analysis and QA responsibilities.
• Strong background in supply chain processes and related workflows.
• Ability to gather, structure, and document detailed requirements.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and test artifacts.
• Hands-on knowledge of SIT and UAT execution.
• Experience with SAP integrations and connected enterprise systems.
• Ability to analyze data, reconcile issues, and validate reporting accuracy.
• Comfort working with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations.
• Experience supporting deployment readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
