Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Glazing Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.
Duties
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed project bids.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and terms.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals for clients, highlighting key aspects of the project scope.
Skills
- Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
-Strong Knowledge in Storefront, Curtain wall, Doors
- Strong Knowledge in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of project management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
- Experience using estimating software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to stakeholders.

Pay: $65,052.30-$100,000.00 per year
