Journeyman/woman Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovations and new installations, utilizing a wide range of electrical tools and techniques. Duties • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, and renovation settings • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete wiring and installation tasks • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications • Assist in the planning and execution of electrical layouts for new construction or renovation projects • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications • Valid Journeyman/woman electrician license or certification • Proven experience as an commercial electrician or in a similar electrical role • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment • Construction experience with a focus on electrical installations and renovations • Ability to interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail • Commitment to safety standards and regulations in all aspects of work • Be able to pass security and police clearance This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex electrical tasks while maintaining high safety standards.
