About this role
Job Description
We’re supporting a national, mission-driven organization looking for an Analyst, Marketing Analytics to support fundraising and marketing programs through hands-on campaign execution and performance analysis.
This role is focused on large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, and offline initiatives. The analyst will support campaigns across the full lifecycle — from setup and segmentation, to in-flight monitoring, to post-campaign analysis and insights.
The current environment includes a mix of manual and evolving data processes, so this role requires someone comfortable working with Excel, campaign data files, and multiple data sources while helping support ongoing improvements to reporting and data systems.
This is not a purely technical or BI-focused role. Success in this role depends on the ability to understand campaign performance, contribute to business decisions, and work closely with marketing stakeholders.
Why This Role
• 13-month maternity leave contract with a well-known national organization
• Salary: up to $85,000 CAD/year
• Primarily remote, with occasional in-office presence (Toronto) approximately once every 1–2 months
• Direct impact on high-volume fundraising and marketing campaigns
• Exposure to full campaign lifecycle and decision-making
• Mission-driven work with meaningful impact
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Analytics & Insights
• Analyze campaign performance and supporter behavior across multiple channels
• Provide insights to support optimization, retention, and revenue growth
• Contribute to data-driven campaign decision-making
Campaign Setup & Execution Support
• Support campaign setup including segmentation and audience selection
• Prepare and validate campaign data files
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
• Ensure data accuracy across campaign workflows
In-Flight Campaign Monitoring
• Track campaign performance during execution
• Provide updates and support adjustments as needed
• Identify trends, issues, and opportunities in real time
Reporting & Visualization
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
• Track campaign results across digital and offline channels
• Clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
• Work closely with marketing, fundraising, and vendor partners
• Translate business questions into reporting and analysis
• Support ad hoc campaign analysis and requests
Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, campaign analytics, or similar roles
• Experience supporting multi-channel, mass marketing campaigns (e.g., paid digital media, email marketing, direct mail, or large-scale campaigns)
• Strong Excel skills (working with large datasets and campaign data files)
• Experience with Power BI and/or Google Analytics
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into insights
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Ideal Profile
You are a hands-on marketing analyst who enjoys working closely with campaign teams and understanding how performance data drives results.
You Are
• Curious and proactive — you ask questions and seek clarity
• Comfortable working with imperfect or evolving data
• Focused on business impact, not just reporting
• Able to work independently while collaborating across teams
