Key Responsibilities Manage and direct all day-to-day catering operations, including staff scheduling, event logistics, and resource management. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of catering services for all events. Oversee inventory management, procurement of supplies, and vendor relations to control costs and maintain quality. Implement and enforce strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Lead, train, and motivate the catering operations team to achieve high performance standards. Collaborate with the culinary and sales teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction. Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings. Develop and refine operational procedures and best practices. Address and resolve any operational issues or client concerns promptly and effectively. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role within the catering or hospitality industry. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of catering operations, food safety standards, and supply chain management. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using operational software and technology. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational demands in Halifax . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
