About this role

We are a multinational hotel group seeking a motivated Financial Reporting & Analysis Analyst to support financial reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, and operational decision-making across our portfolio of hotels. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can turn financial and operational data into clear insights and practical recommendations for management. Key Responsibilities • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, management reports, and variance analyses. • Review hotel profit and loss statements and identify key performance trends, risks, and opportunities. • Analyze revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labour costs, departmental expenses, and profitability. • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning. • Compare actual results against budgets, forecasts, prior periods, and industry benchmarks. • Work with hotel teams to investigate variances and improve financial performance. • Develop dashboards, financial models, and executive-level presentations. • Assist with month-end reporting, account reconciliations, and data validation. • Support acquisition analysis, capital expenditure reviews, and other strategic projects. • Improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy across the organization. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. • Two to five years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis. • Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modelling. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both finance and operational teams. • High level of accuracy, judgment, discretion, and professional integrity. Preferred Experience • Experience in hotels, hospitality, real estate, or a multi-location business is preferred. • Familiarity with hotel performance metrics, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOP, is preferred. • Experience with accounting systems, hotel property-management systems, Power BI, or other reporting tools is preferred. • CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation is an asset.
