Lead Data Analyst

Job Description Job Description Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst with strong expertise in large-scale data analysis, reporting, and query optimization. The role focuses on extracting insights from complex datasets, supporting business decisions, and working with financial domain data. This position requires strong analytical skills with limited involvement in data modeling activities. Key Responsibilities • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and business insights • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting • Support performance tuning and issue resolution for data systems • Work with multiple structured and semi-structured data formats • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver insights Mandatory Skills • Strong experience in SQL (advanced query building and optimization) • Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis • Experience working with large-scale data environments • Strong understanding of data formats: XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, Protobuf Domain Expertise • Experience in Financial Services domain • Understanding of Financial Instruments (Derivatives preferred) Tools & Productivity • Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar for data analysis and reporting Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Highly proactive and quick learner • Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis mindset Mandatory Skills: Data Analysis .
