I'm currently recruiting for a well-established Canadian manufacturer specializing in custom-engineered industrial equipment used in demanding industrial and critical applications.
As part of the expansion of its ASME Section VIII-certified fabrication facility and the succession planning of a senior engineer, the company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong pressure vessel expertise. Mission You'll join a small engineering team involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design through manufacturing.
Designing pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII, CSA B51/B52, and customer requirements using Codeware COMPRESS.
-Reviewing, approving and sealing manufacturing drawings.
-Performing design calculations and managing CRN registrations.
-Developing welding procedures in accordance with ASME Section IX.
-Providing technical support to production, welding, purchasing and quality teams.
-Supporting piping design activities under ASME B31.Participating in regulatory audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Sharing your expertise and supporting the development of the engineering team.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the technical integrity, compliance and manufacturability of highly specialized equipment.
Your profile We're looking for an engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a practical manufacturing mindset.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Authorization to seal engineering drawings.
-Experience designing and manufacturing pressure vessels.
-Intermediate English and professional French.
Eng. designation would be considered a significant asset.
