Jr Analyst, Corporate Development TwelveSix Services Ltd. Location: Calgary, Alberta Type: Full-Time About us TwelveSix Services is a Calgary-based advisory and development firm operating at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, power, and data center development. We support clients through complex transactions, project origination, asset evaluation, regulatory coordination, commercial strategy, and project execution. We are a small, entrepreneurial team working on large-scale opportunities across Alberta’s evolving energy and compute infrastructure landscape. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Jr. Analyst to support corporate development, business development, project evaluation, and transaction-related work. Role Overview The Jr. Analyst, Corporate Development will support the TwelveSix team with research, analysis, financial modeling, market scans, project tracking, proposal development, and client-facing materials. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and interested in energy, infrastructure, power generation, data centers, transactions, and business development. You will work directly with senior leadership and gain exposure to real projects, clients, partners, investors, developers, and strategic opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Support research and analysis related to energy, power, infrastructure, data centers, oil and gas assets, and project development opportunities. • Assist with financial models, project economics, valuation summaries, transaction analysis, and commercial comparisons. • Conduct market research, asset scans, competitor reviews, and opportunity screening. • Help prepare proposals, client presentations, investment summaries, project memos, site packages, and business development materials. • Track active opportunities, client deliverables, deadlines, follow-ups, and project status updates. • Review and summarize technical, commercial, regulatory, land, engineering, and transaction-related documents. • Support corporate development initiatives, including partnerships, acquisitions, strategic opportunities, and new business lines. • Assist with CRM updates, pipeline tracking, internal databases, and project organization. • Coordinate with internal team members, clients, consultants, engineers, lawyers, accountants, vendors, and external advisors as needed. • Help turn complex information into clear, organized, and useful materials for decision-making. Required Skills & Experience • Post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, engineering, energy, commerce, or a related field, with 1+ years of relevant experience in finance, corporate development, consulting, engineering, energy, infrastructure, business analysis, or similar. • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial models, data, and business documents. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize complex information. • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Curious, resourceful, and willing to learn quickly. • Confident asking questions when something is unclear. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace, and related business tools. • Interest in energy, infrastructure, power, data centers, transactions, and project development is considered an asset.
