Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team in **Toronto, Ontario, CA**. This role is pivotal in the design, planning, and project management of complex infrastructure projects, including transportation, water resources, and land development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, extensive knowledge of relevant engineering principles and software, and proven leadership capabilities. Responsibilities include leading the design process for various infrastructure components, conducting feasibility studies and site investigations, preparing detailed engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, managing project timelines and budgets, liaising with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders, and contributing to business development efforts. Significant experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant analysis tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM) is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution is required, along with a Professional Engineer (PEO) license or eligibility for licensure in Ontario. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management is mandatory.
