Role Description The Director of Data Management is a part-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of data management frameworks that support digital marketing and web application services. Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing data governance policies, monitoring data quality standards, and ensuring consistent data practices across teams. The Director collaborates with marketing, analytics, and development teams to structure data for reporting, insights, and decision-making. The role also involves leading data-related initiatives, mentoring team members on best practices, and optimizing data workflows to improve efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Data Governance and Data Management, with experience defining standards and processes.
• Hands-on expertise in Data Quality, including validation, cleansing, and monitoring of data integrity.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Experience with Clinical Data Management or similar regulated data environments is an asset.
• Proficiency with data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL databases, BI tools, data integration solutions).
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional data initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
