Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the International Banking (IB) Financial Planning & Analysis team in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Provide support to IB countries and coordinate financial activities of month and quarter end closing, forecasting and planning (Executive Reports, Plan, EWST, among others) and submissions. Review financial statements and analyze countries’ results; perform reasonability of countries’ submission of deliverables. Analyze and identify profit improvement opportunities for IB countries. Analyze and review processes with the countries, to achieve the divisional performance goals and provide recommendations to make sure continuous improvement. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Develop and maintain financial measurement processes and a comprehensive business model to provide accurate and consistent assessment of financial performance at the divisional, regional, and country level. This includes developing/analyzing key input data (e.g. FXrates, financial ratios, Transfer Pricing, Attributed Capital, etc.) Perform Deep Dive analysis on a regular basis to provide senior management insights into the business results. Build databases and models to centrally administer system adjustment information such as M&A, Divestitures, one-time items, among others Champion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
