Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Account Executive – Building Materials for a full-time hybrid role based in Calgary, AB. You will be responsible for driving sales, generating leads, managing key accounts, and building strong, long-term client relationships within the construction and building materials market. This role blends in-office collaboration, client-facing activities, and some flexibility to work remotely. As part of the sales team, you will support clients with technical consultations and provide high-quality customer service to meet their diverse construction needs.
Qualifications
• Proven skills in Lead Generation and identifying growth opportunities to expand the client base
• Experience in Account Management and overseeing ongoing projects to ensure client satisfaction
• Excellent Communication and Relationship Building abilities to engage with architects, contractors, and developers
• Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service and responsiveness to client needs
• Knowledge of construction materials, industry trends, and local building standards (e.g., CSA standards) is an advantage
• Resourcefulness and ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
