Become a vital part of Weir Canada as a Senior Data Analyst supporting the Digital Engineering Modeling and Simulation (DEM&S) ecosystem. Collaborate on data models and digital threads for enhanced defense acquisition projects.
In this full-time role based in LaSalle, QC, you'll support a major client within the Ministry of National Defence. Your expertise will guide the development of robust data models and data exchange standards. You'll work closely with systems engineers and subject matter experts to achieve seamless data integration and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and validate comprehensive data models for DEM&S
• Implement digital threads for smooth data flow
• Maintain data format and exchange standards (XML, API)
• Promote agile methodologies for phased implementation
• Collaborate on data needs with technical teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
• Five years of experience in data modeling
• Proficiency in data exchange solutions
• Strong knowledge of XML, APIs, JSON
• Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance
