For over 30 years InBenefits has provided management and administration solutions to its clients, the Nursing Homes and Related Industries Pension Plan and the Multi-Sector Pension Plan. We also provide additional services such as Consulting, Investment Support, Communication and Education.
InBenefits is hiring an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to support our members. As the main point of contact for participants and pensioners, this role focuses on responding to member inquiries and ensuring questions are resolved or directed to the appropriate contact. The successful candidate will follow established policies and procedures while managing member expectations in accordance with service level agreements.
Responsibilities
. Manage inbound and outbound calls related to termination and retirement benefits.
· Provide accurate information to members using appropriate methods and tools, while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate strong listening skills and the ability to assess and identify member needs.
· Maintain and update member information in the pension plan database.
. Assisting members with accessing, downloading and navigating the online portal.
. Ad hoc duties as assigned
Required Skills
· University degree and 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a pension or financial industry.
. Pension experience is considered an asset.
· Previous customer service experience is an asset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
· The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
· Strong time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
· Eager and Energetic
· Flexibility to work as both an effective team member and independently
