Startec is looking for an HR Manager to oversee HR operations at our Calgary facility. You will manage a talented HR team while providing strategic support on employee relations, payroll, and compliance matters. This position demands a proactive approach in mentoring staff and enhancing HR services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and coach HR staff on daily operations
• Facilitate conflict resolution and employee relations
• Guide performance management initiatives across teams
• Ensure adherence to HR compliance standards
• Oversee effective onboarding and transition processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
• 8-12 years in progressive HR roles
• Strong understanding of Alberta Employment Standards
• Proven track record in performance coaching and mentoring
• Excellent communication skills with leadership experience
