About this role
BOLD Engineering Inc. is currently looking to hire an Intermediate Electrical Engineer (Power / Lighting / Fire Alarm) experienced in Building Design.
The ideal candidate will need to meet the following criteria.
• Must be a licensed P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario with experience and knowledge in the Building Engineering Sector.
• Be responsible for reviewing, signing and stamping of all Electrical Work leaving the office.
• Must have experience working on both private and public sector government projects.
• Must have experience working in a similar consulting firm in Canada, preferable in Ontario.
• Must be well versed in local building codes.
• Must be comfortable working on the following types of project.
• - Power Distribution
• - Lighting / Lighting Control
• - Fire Alarm - Addressible / Conventional / Single / Multi-Stage
• Must have experience working with the following building types:
• - Residential (Single Family)
• - Residential (Multi-Residential Towns and Condos)
• - Commercial Retail
• - Commercial Office
• - Commercial Restaurants
• - Industrial (Small and Large Base Building)
• - Institutional - Educational
• - Institutional - Municipal Offices / Civic Centres / etc.
• - Hospitality - Hotels
• - Generator design (electrical portion)
• Must be ready to work independently and to lead a team and provide guidance to junior staff
• Must have 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role
• Compensation: Salary Range - Will be based on experience and capabilityYear End Bonus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
