Senior Data Analyst (Part Time) • *MUST HAVE** CIS Experience We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a major healthcare system transformation initiative focused on clinical data management and migration. The successful candidate will lead the documentation, prioritization, and strategic management of health information as the organization transitions from multiple standalone hospital systems to a unified Clinical Information Solution. This role is critical to ensuring clinical continuity, regulatory compliance, and secure access to both migrated and legacy data. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare data requirements, validation standards, and large-scale data migration projects, and will work collaboratively with clinical, technical, and compliance stakeholders to develop comprehensive data management strategies and deliverables. The analyst will be responsible for establishing data quality standards and processes, developing detailed data mapping rules, managing core datasets such as patient and provider information, and documenting comprehensive data management artifacts including specifications, retention requirements, and transformation logic. The role involves a mixture of steady-state and project-based efforts, with collaboration across clinical, Health Information Management, compliance, IT, and vendor teams. Some after-hours and weekend work may be required with advance approval. Qualifications - 7 years of demonstrated experience gathering and validating data requirements, extracting and profiling data, and developing detailed ETL specifications - 10 years of demonstrated healthcare experience with a focus on health information systems, standards, technology, and software - 5 years of demonstrated experience delivering data migration projects involving large-scale Clinical Information Systems within Canadian hospital environments - Bachelor's level university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a similar discipline (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) - Ability to facilitate sessions in both English and French - 5 years of demonstrated experience assessing, cleansing, and converting large healthcare-specific datasets to support migration, integration, or reporting initiatives - 5 years of demonstrated experience collaborating with business and clinical stakeholders to gather data requirements, prioritize datasets, and define target-state data profiling criteria, quality metrics, and validation requirements - 5 years of demonstrated knowledge and practical application of data modeling principles, data governance standards, and data quality management best practices - 3 years of demonstrated experience using tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI platforms to extract, transform, analyze, and visualize data efficiently - 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting large-scale healthcare data migration projects involving core hospital systems, including Clinical Information Systems, Laboratory Information Systems, and Radiology Information Systems Nice to Have - Previous experience working within the local technology or healthcare environment, showcasing a strong understanding of the regional landscape, policies, and practices Pay: From $75.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
