Health Link is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide vital teletriage services. In this part-time role, you'll assess callers' needs while navigating clinical protocols and databases. Your critical thinking and adept problem-solving abilities will be essential as you guide patients toward appropriate care solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide telephone triage services to diverse Alberta patients
• Evaluate and triage health concerns using clinical software
• Offer reliable health advice while engaging with callers
• Utilize strong assessment skills to ensure quality care
• Maintain a respectful and sensitive approach to patient interactions
Requirements:
• Active registration with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Minimum 3-5 years recent clinical nursing experience
• Proficiency in telephone communication and assessment
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
