About this role

Marketing Manager Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a part time basis. Generally responsible for business development to improve organizational market position and achieve financial growth, the Marketing Manager works with Leaders to define short and long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This is a 1 year, part time contract. Key Responsibilities: • Developing the Brand and marketing strategy for new and existing services and products including campaigns, events, digital marketing etc. • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends by researching and building relationships with new clients • Work closely with management team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives • Working closely with the company’s team; enabling them to meet their engineering and commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations • Set up meetings with clients • Leading proposal efforts. Participate in pricing the solution/service needed by client • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients • Cold call as appropriate within market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within client organization • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and business development, ideally in a managerial role • 15+ years of experience in oil & gas and strong industry connections to support business development • Proven experience in marketing and business development, ideally in a managerial role • Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Pay: From $100.00 per hour Education: • Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: • oil and gas business development: 10 years (required) • oil and gas industry: 10 years (required) Work Location: In person
