Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Fixed Income & Securities Financing)
Role Summary
Seeking a Business Analyst with 8+ years of Capital Markets experience, specifically in Fixed Income and Securities Financing. The role involves gathering business requirements, documenting business processes, and delivering business solutions for trading and securities financing initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders and Agile IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business needs and document requirements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams.
• Prepare BA deliverables including:
• Business Requirements
• Use Cases
• Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Process Mapping
• Operational Procedures
• Impact Analysis
• Implementation Strategy
• Traceability Matrix
• Document the securities financing lifecycle, including:
• Fixed Income/Bonds
• Securities Lending & Borrowing
• Repo / Global Repo Market
• Collateral Management
• Position Management
• Support solution validation, testing, Agile ceremonies, and process improvements.
Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets.
• Strong experience with Fixed Income and Inventory/Securities Financing.
• Knowledge of:
• Repo / Reverse Repo
• Securities Lending & Borrowing
• Collateral Management
• Position & Inventory Management
• Experience across the full trade lifecycle:
• Trading Platforms
• Valuation
• Settlement
• Accounting
• Risk
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be based in Canada.
Preferred
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.).
• Experience with validation strategies and unit testing.
• Process improvement and business process optimization experience.
Bilingual (French & English) is mandatory
