About this role
This is your chance to impact lives as a Registered Practical Nurse in our Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders program. You'll provide essential services, both in-person and through telemedicine. We are seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse who holds a valid diploma and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
You’ll work closely with patients facing mental health and substance use issues, applying your knowledge of legislation and CNO Standards to enhance their care experience. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead individual assessments and develop care plans
• Perform glucometer readings, medication administration, and more
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support
• Facilitate group therapy and educational sessions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as necessary Requirements:
• Graduate of recognized Practical Nursing Diploma Program
• Knowledge in psychiatric and substance use treatments
• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR/AED Certification
