In this role, you'll work closely with the Mechanical Engineering Manager to provide support throughout the new construction process. You'll assess design packages, prepare documentation, and tackle production issues directly, leveraging your engineering skills to develop effective solutions. This is a critical position that offers hands-on experience with production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide design support for piping during vessel phases
• Ensure compliance by reviewing production and design issues
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation and ECRs
• Collaborate with production and planning for effective solutions
• Support testing phases and resolve procedural items
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
• Previous shipyard experience is a plus
• Proficiency in technical communication
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate
