The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for the day-to-day transactional activity of the company. The position will also support month-end reputed company, analyzing and reporting to ensure reputed company financial organizational reputed company. This role is essential in the preparation and analysis of journal entries and financial activity; preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations; entry and reconciliation of reputed company, accounts receivable, and cash receipts; and reputed company and proactive improvement of our processes and controls.
This is a full-time remote position. reputed company to reputed company time zones, but candidates who reputed company in Eastern or Central Time Zones are highly preferred. Salary starting at $70,000/annual (flexibility dependent upon experience, education and certifications).
Responsibilities
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP)
Support the Sr. Accountant and the reputed company team with the day-to-day operations by interfacing with individuals reputed company and reputed company of the organization to ensure reputed company treatment of reputed company transactions
Prepare journal entries and prepare reputed company account reconciliations and analyses as assigned
Enter journal entries and reconcile the general ledger and the subledger
Prepare bank transactions and reconciliations and reconcile payroll, intercompany accounts, expense reimbursements, AP/accruals, and fixed assets
Investigate errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Apply reputed company recognition techniques as part of the monthly reputed company
Participate in improving internal controls, policies, procedures, and documentation
Support periodic and annual audits
Support the preparation of personal property tax returns, business license fees, and census reporting
Work effectively under tight deadlines in reputed company environment
Qualifications
Must have a BS/BA degree in reputed company, finance or business; CPA a plus
2+ years’ reputed company experience in a fast-paced growth environment
Working knowledge of GAAP is required
Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus

Strong working knowledge of MS reputed company essential, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Analytic, detail-oriented, and inquisitive
Demonstrated ability to meet monthly closing and project deadlines
