Our client, a dynamic organization at the forefront of the sports and entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join their team in Jacksonville, Florida . This role is instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for a portfolio of high-profile events. You will be responsible for driving attendance, enhancing brand visibility, and creating memorable experiences for attendees. This hybrid position requires a blend of strategic planning, creative execution, and on-site event support. Responsibilities: Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for assigned sports and entertainment events, covering pre-event, during-event, and post-event activities. Manage event branding, messaging, and promotional campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, radio, and out-of-home advertising. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sponsorship, operations, ticketing) to ensure cohesive event marketing efforts. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, advertisements, website content, and social media posts. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for event growth and optimization. Manage event budgets, track campaign performance, and report on key marketing metrics (ROI, attendance, engagement). Develop and execute social media strategies to build excitement and drive ticket sales. Coordinate with media partners and influencers to maximize event exposure. Plan and execute on-site marketing activations and fan engagement initiatives. Conduct post-event analysis and provide recommendations for future event improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event marketing, sports marketing, entertainment marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing campaigns for events. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and analytics tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creative storytelling. Proficiency in project management and budget management. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Experience with CRM and marketing automation software is a plus. Passion for sports and entertainment is highly desirable.
