If you enjoy accounting but don't want to be stuck doing the same thing every day, this could be a great fit. Reporting to the Controller and working as part of a close-knit finance team of six, you'll own the project accounting function while partnering with project managers and the business development team to keep projects running smoothly from a financial perspective. Qualifications
• CPA student or actively pursuing the CPA designation preferred.
• At least 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally from engineering, construction or consulting industry.
• Experience in a project-based environment or with project accounting is an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or a similar ERP system is an asset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about continuous process improvement.
• Collaborative team player with a strong internal customer-service mindset.
