Fia is a name customers count on for quality, innovation, design, precision and fit. Fia is searching for a Director of Sales who will contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.
The Role:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth across North America. Working closely with sales agencies, distributors, retailers, and customers. This individual will identify and capture growth opportunities, strengthen commercial relationships, and expand Fia’s presence across existing and emerging markets. The Director of Sales will oversee sales
agency performance, strategic account development, new business acquisition, and forecasting while providing market insights that support the company’s continued growth and success.
The Responsibilities:
• Spend time with the team to gain first-hand knowledge of Fia’s values, culture, products, customers, and competitive advantages.
• Manage and optimize the performance of Fia’s sales agencies by establishing clear expectations, conducting regular business reviews, recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting agency partners.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that strengthen customer relationships, drive account expansion, and increase revenue within, distributor, retail, and key customer accounts.
• Maintain a constant pulse on the market through regular customer contact, weekly order reviews, sales analysis, and market intelligence to support business planning and growth.
• Develop and execute new business strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new customers, channels, and market opportunities across North America.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, rebates, and partnership agreements that support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor pipeline health, identify risks and opportunities, and support operational planning and annual budgeting.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Product Development, and Marketing to align commercial commitments with business objectives and support the successful commercialization of new products.
• Represent Fia at customer meetings, trade shows, training events, and industry forums to strengthen relationships, generate new business opportunities, and enhance the company’s market presence.
The Requirements:
• 7+ years of progressive B2B sales experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic account management, customer development, and long-term relationship building.
• Demonstrated success managing agency relationships, growing key accounts, securing new customers, channels, and market opportunities.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and optimize external sales agencies, distributors, and channel partners.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for agencies, distributors, and key customers.
• Extensive experience leading commercial negotiations and managing profitable customer partnerships.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning capabilities supported by data-driven decision making.
• Ability to leverage market intelligence, customer insights, and sales data to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on growth, profitability, and customer value.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• This role requires significant travel throughout North America.
