This role focuses on the leadership of trusted, AI-ready data solutions that drive informed decision-making.In this strategic position, you will report directly to the Chief Data, Analytics & Knowledge Officer. Managing a small team, overseeing data governance, and building comprehensive data quality frameworks are key responsibilities. Your expertise in data engineering and analytical capabilities will directly contribute to the quality of data products used across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
• Establish definitions for data trustworthiness in various domains
• Validate and profile data quality using hands-on analysis
• Develop and oversee continuous data quality pipelines
• Lead a multi-disciplinary data governance initiative
• Collaborate on AI-ready products with analytics teamsRequirements:
• 5-10 years in data quality or management roles
• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines
• Experience mentoring and leading teams successfully
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data management
• Clear communicator adept at explaining data conceptsLead the way in data product innovation at Extendicare, enhancing organizational effectiveness through quality governance.
