About this role

• The expected base salary range for this position is $45/Hr - $50/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. • The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. About the Opportunity: • We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team at a leading Canadian financial institution. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document AML-related business requirements. • Develop clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and supporting documentation. • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the VP and project sponsors, to validate requirements and obtain sign-off. • Manage multiple iterations of BRDs, incorporating stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying requirements and assisting with issue resolution. • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure traceability between business requirements and technical solutions. • Work effectively across multiple concurrent projects while adapting to changing priorities. • Contribute to the successful delivery of AML initiatives that meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of Business Analyst experience within the financial services industry. • Experience creating, managing, and refining Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process documentation. • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. • Highly adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working within Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, or Risk Management. • Understanding of AML regulations, business processes, and data flows. • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
