AI Software Developer (Computer Vision & AI)
We're hiring an AI Software Developer to join a team building AI-powered assistive technology for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
This role is focused on Computer Vision, not general AI. The ideal candidate will have experience with image and video processing and a proven track record of taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production-ready commercial products.
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and one or more of C, C++, or C#
• Hands-on experience with Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and AI integration
• Experience building and deploying production AI features for commercial products
• Strong understanding of scalable AI architecture and software design
• Experience developing for embedded, mobile, or wearable devices is a plus
• Knowledge of Android, Linux, OpenGL, or image/video processing is an advantage
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
