Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of their divisions. This is a senior role ideal for a bilingual professional with a background in professional services or legal environments who thrives at the intersection of strategy, finance, and people management. Principal tasks and responsibilities include: • Collaborate with division leadership to support operational and strategic decision-making • Provide strategic support on profitability, pricing, and resource allocation • Plan and oversee daily division operations, implementing and optimizing processes • Develop and manage the division's annual budget in collaboration with the finance department • Produce monthly reporting including workflow metrics and data analysis • Manage and develop direct reports across the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, compensation, development, and offboarding • Support long-term planning and assess future resource needs (lawyers, paralegals, legal assistants) Qualifications and pre-requisites: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a professional services firm or law firm • Full bilingualism in French and English (required) • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Experience with Aderant and/or Workday is an asset Additional information or perks: • Benefits coverage from day one, paid by the employer • Wellness program and technology expense allowance • Competitive compensation with generous leave, including a volunteer day and birthday day off • Hybrid work environment • Strong culture of professional development and internal growth isgSearch does not use artificial intelligence throughout the hiring process
