Frontend Vue.JS Engineer

On behalf of our client, Starboard Recruitment is searching for multiple Senior Software Engineers (Golang) in Toronto, Ontario who are experienced with Golang. We are looking for an experienced software engineer to work on our distributed-identity orchestration platform. Participate and drive all stages of the SDLC using agile methods, pair programming, and test-driven development Build and Run software following a DevSecOps model Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve general practices. Contribute to technical design and perform code reviews to ensure good engineering practices are being applied. Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve overall practices. Work with professional services for successful deployments in customer environments. Work in hybrid environment, with at least 3 days per week in our downtown Vancouver office. Take an agile, iterative approach to development, dividing long-term goals into incremental milestones. Enjoy pair programming or are excited about the opportunity to practice it. Understand the value of test driven development and enjoy working in that style. Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results. Adaptable and willing to apply your skills to help the team achieve its goals. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Experience with GoLang, Linux, networking, web, and app servers. 7+ years experience in software development and engineering for cloud-native or enterprise software company Solid experience with Web application architectures, and cloud platforms. Experience designing and developing large-scale applications, including the design and implementation of modern web applications Grounding in modern software engineering practices and design patterns Solid understanding of the technical fundamentals of networking and cloud-based applications Knowledge of cloud identity (AzureAD, Okta, Google, and AWS) and / or on-premises identity (SiteMinder, OAM, ClearTrust, Ping, ForgeRock) Experience with Test Driven Development and Pair Programming It’s not expected that a single candidate has expertise in all these areas.
