About this role
Take on a dynamic role as a Business Project Manager with the Bank of Canada focusing on crucial projects in a hybrid remote environment. You'll utilize your project management skills to deliver governance support and drive success.
This position is a 12-month renewable contract with potential for extension, reporting to the Director, Currency Policy and Research. You will provide expertise for the Cost of Payments Study and the Cash System Governance project, assuring effective governance frameworks. Your collaborative approach will ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed, while maintaining robust project workplans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish project governance frameworks for initiatives
• Collaborate on timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Document changes to project scope and deliverables
• Plan and execute senior governance forums and briefings
• Ensure timely project delivery through effective controls
Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma in business or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of governance best practices and methodologies
• Strong judgment for risk assessment and resolution
• Ability to foster alignment among stakeholders
