Business Development & Marketing Manager — EnerAI About EnerAI EnerAI is an AI-powered energy consulting firm helping developers, architects, and property owners achieve superior energy performance. We specialize in energy modelling, compliance reporting, and sustainability consulting — combining cutting-edge AI tools with deep engineering expertise to deliver faster, smarter results for our clients. We're growing fast and looking for a driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to help us expand our client base and amplify our presence in the market. The Role You'll be the face of EnerAI in the market — identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with developers and architects, representing us at industry events, and closing deals. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on connecting with people and turning conversations into long-term client relationships. What You'll Do • Prospect & Outreach: Identify and reach out to target clients — real estate developers, architectural firms, general contractors, and property managers — through LinkedIn, email, calls, and networking. • Event Representation: Attend and present at industry conferences, trade shows, and community events to build EnerAI's brand and generate leads. • Client Acquisition: Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract; present our services clearly and compellingly. • Marketing Execution: Develop and manage content for LinkedIn and other channels; coordinate campaigns to increase brand awareness and inbound leads. • Partnership Development: Build referral partnerships with architects, engineers, lenders, and government program administrators. • CRM & Reporting: Track pipeline activity and report on outreach, conversion rates, and revenue targets. What We're Looking For • 3+ years in business development, sales, or marketing — ideally in construction, real estate, sustainability, or engineering services • Proven track record of generating leads and closing clients • Excellent communicator — comfortable presenting to executives and attending networking events • Self-starter who can work independently and manage your own pipeline • Familiarity with the Canadian real estate or green building sector is a strong asset • Knowledge of CMHC MLI Select, energy efficiency programs, or sustainability consulting is a plus (but not required) What We Offer • Competitive base salary + performance-based commission • Flexible hybrid work arrangement • A fast-growing company where your work directly shapes our success • Opportunity to build and lead a BD/marketing function from the ground up • Meaningful work in the clean energy and sustainability space
