🚀 We're Hiring | Staff / Principal Software Engineer (Java) | AI Platform Engineering
📍 Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
We're looking for an innovative, hands-on Staff/Principal Software Engineer to join a fast-paced R&D team building next-generation AI-enabled platforms. If you enjoy building systems from 0→1, thrive in ambiguity, and love working at the intersection of Java, Cloud, Edge Computing, and AI, we'd love to connect!
💻 Must-Have Skills
✅ 10+ years of Java & Spring Boot development
✅ Microservices & Distributed Systems
✅ Software Architecture & System Design
✅ AWS Cloud (Compute, Storage, IAM, Networking)
✅ Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka or similar)
✅ Experience building AI-enabled platforms or ML integration services
✅ Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
✅ Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
⭐ Nice to Have
• Python for data engineering or automation
• Databricks or AI/Data Platform experience
• Edge Computing (Lambda@Edge, CloudFront Functions, Cloudflare Workers, Akamai EdgeWorkers, etc.)
• Identity & Security (JWT, OAuth 2.0, PKI, Token Validation)
• Experience working with ML inference pipelines, feature stores, or model registries
📅 Contract: 6 Months (High possibility of extension)
