The SAM Specialist – SAM Administration & Reporting is accountable for the configuration, integrity, and usability of the SAM platform, ensuring normalized, well‑modeled, and reportable software data that enables compliance, operational decision‑making, and executive reporting. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: • Ensure the SAM platform is configured, governed, and operating effectively • Maintain high levels of data normalization, modeling accuracy, and completeness • Maintain model configuration that supports downstream SAM processes such as license reconciliation and unauthorized software management • Provide trusted reporting and insights to operational, business, and executive stakeholders • Support audit readiness through consistent and defensible SAM data structuresConfiguring and maintaining ServiceNow SAM Pro tooling and integrations • Managing normalization rules to achieve defined target thresholds • Establishing and maintaining SAM data models and table relationships • Creating and maintaining software models based on licensing, Enterprise Architecture and other software lifecycle and inventory related requirements • Mapping discovery models to software models to support reconciliations and controls • Monitoring data health and coordinating remediation of discovery or feed issues Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
