Lead financial operations as the Corporate Controller supporting the Canada CFO and Treasurer. This role emphasizes financial reporting, tax provision management, and audit liaison in a dynamic environment.As the Corporate Controller, you will act as a key finance business partner to the CFO and Treasurer, managing local finance and regulatory reporting. With a focus on IFRS and CIRO compliance, you will oversee accounting practices, lead audit interactions, and enhance operational efficiencies in financial reporting. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.Key Responsibilities:
• Act as lead finance partner for Canada CFO and Treasurer
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements per standards
• Review financial statements for variance against budget
• Manage internal/external audit processes and documentation
• Oversee direct and indirect tax provisions with consultantsRequirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or equivalent qualification required
• 8-10+ years of finance experience in capital markets
• Strong analytical and communication skills
