In this strategic role, you will lead HR operations and act as a trusted advisor to site leaders throughout Canadian operations. Your responsibilities will include managing talent development, workforce planning, and fostering constructive labour relationships, all while ensuring alignment with legal and corporate HR frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead collective bargaining preparation and negotiations
• Coach managers on employee relations and performance issues
• Handle grievance processes and promote timely resolutions
• Develop HR team capabilities for consistent service delivery
• Partner in employee engagement and diversity initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area; HR designation favored
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, 3 in a union environment
• Deep knowledge of Canadian employment standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, Dayforce preferred
