The General
Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will support the Controllership unit. This position requires involvement in financial analysis, external audits, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Candidates should possess solid accounting experience, especially in full-cycle accounting tasks, and have strong analytical skills for variance investigations. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
• Ensure timely entry of financial information for month-end closes
• Analyze variances to understand their causes
• Support year-end audit and review processes
• Maintain and develop accounting systems and reporting requirements Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting
• Working towards CPA designation
• Two years of accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
