Lead the month-end close and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Located in Calgary, Intergraph Canada ULC, part of Octave, offers a Senior Accountant role that includes critical finance functions such as complex analysis and accurate reporting.
You will collaborate with the Controller to deliver actionable financial insights while managing essential accounting processes and compliance tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Execute month-end close and journal entry review
• Handle tax compliance and corporate filings
• Direct accounts receivable initiatives for timely payments
• Support audits and provide insights for improvements Requirements:
• 5+ years in a mid-size accounting environment
• Advanced Excel skills to manipulate large datasets
• Knowledge of Canadian income and sales tax
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
