Key Responsibilities Design and develop complex structural components and assemblies for aerospace applications using advanced CAD software. Perform comprehensive structural analysis, including static, dynamic, fatigue, and thermal stress analysis using FEA tools. Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications compliant with aerospace industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, AMS). Collaborate virtually with stress analysts, materials engineers, manufacturing engineers, and program managers. Define material requirements and select appropriate materials based on performance, weight, and environmental considerations. Oversee and support structural testing, analyze test data, and iterate designs as necessary. Ensure designs meet all relevant aerospace regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements. Contribute to the development of new design methodologies and best practices for aerospace structures. Maintain thorough documentation of all design processes, analyses, and decisions. Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 8+ years of experience in the design and analysis of aerospace structures. Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX) and advanced FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN). Deep understanding of aerospace materials (composites, high-strength alloys) and their behavior under load. Proven experience with aerospace design standards, manufacturing processes, and testing protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and productively. Familiarity with aerospace certification processes.
