Epitec is seeking to hire a Junior Project Manager to support a large, fast-paced connected vehicle software program with a leading global U.S. automaker. Location: Kanata, ON-Fully Onsite W2 Contract: Long-Term Pay Range: Market Rate Medical Benefits & PTO Included Position Overview: This role supports a high-visibility software program delivering connected vehicle capabilities. The Junior Project Manager will coordinate day-to-day execution across Jira planning, release management, vendor tracking, requirements management, and stakeholder reporting. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced working with software development teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage Jira issues, priorities, dependencies, and sprint/release planning • Support software release coordination across engineering, QA, and vendor teams • Track requirements, risks, blockers, and action items across the project lifecycle • Prepare dashboards, status reports, and executive-level updates • Coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure deliverables are on track • Utilize LLMs and prompt engineering to improve reporting, documentation, and meeting preparation • Drive alignment across software, hardware, and connectivity stakeholders Required Skills & Experience: • 3–5 years of Project Manager or Technical Project Manager experience • Proven experience supporting software development teams • Strong understanding of Agile methodology, SDLC, and release planning • Hands-on experience with Jira and reporting/dashboard tools • Experience managing requirements, dependencies, and vendor communications • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail Preferred Experience: • Exposure to hardware development environments • Familiarity with cellular/mobile technologies, telematics, or network certification • Background in automotive, mobility, telecom, or embedded systems • Experience with AI productivity tools, LLMs, or prompt engineering Education: • Bachelor’s Degree required #ProjectManager #TechnicalProjectManager #Jira #Agile #SDLC #ConnectedVehicles #AutomotiveTech #KanataJobs #OttawaJobs #LLM #PromptEngineering #TechJobs #HiringNow #Epitec #LI-KT1 #INDEPI
