About this role

About Us: • Medico Supplies develops advanced medical technology used by prosthetic and orthotic clinics throughout North America. Our products combine desktop software, mobile applications, embedded electronics, cloud services, AI, and precision manufacturing to improve patient care. We are looking for a versatile software developer who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges and is comfortable moving between desktop development, mobile applications, and hardware integration. This is not a maintenance role you will be building products that directly interact with medical devices used in clinics every day. • What You'll Do: • As part of our engineering team, you will take ownership of both our mobile and desktop software platforms. • Your responsibilities will include: • Lead the complete mobile application lifecycle, from development through production releases on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Design, • develop, and maintain our Windows desktop application (C#, .NET). • Integrate native C++ libraries and third-party SDKs into our C# application using P/Invoke, wrappers, and interop techniques. • Develop new features while maintaining existing software used by clinics worldwide. • Troubleshoot hardware/software communication issues. • Work closely with firmware, electronics, AI, and mechanical engineering teams. • Transition between mobile releases and desktop feature development as project priorities evolve. • Participate in software architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions. • Required Qualifications: • We're looking for someone who has: • Strong experience developing and shipping mobile applications. • Proven experience successfully publishing applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. • Solid C# and .NET desktop application development experience. Experience integrating C++ libraries, native SDKs, or hardware APIs into C# applications. • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication.
