About this role
To support individuals with mental illness, the part-time PRN New York Licensed Registered Nurse will conduct clinical assessments in various settings, including nursing homes and hospitals, while working in a hybrid environment across Queens, New York, with approximately 5-20 hours of work per month. Key responsibilities Conduct face-to-face clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care for individuals with psychiatric disorders Utilize electronic systems for documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and support networks Analyze psychological, emotional, and behavioral functioning to develop care recommendations based on clinical evaluations Required qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience assessing individuals with mental and psychiatric disorders Must possess an unrestricted active Registered Nurse license from New York Bona fide resident of the State of New York Valid and current driving license in good standing in New York State Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
