Business Analyst Role in Ottawa or Halifax

Aversan Inc. seeks a Senior Business Analyst skilled in LEAN methodologies to enhance processes with Value Stream Mapping. This contract position invites collaboration onsite for three days per week. As a Senior Business Analyst at Aversan, you'll lead the Business Analysis team in redefining processes across the aerospace and defence sectors. Your efforts will involve conducting stakeholder interviews, formulating compelling value propositions, and developing detailed Engineering Change Proposals. You will leverage your extensive experience to ensure that processes align with updated IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead process definition and maturity within AJISS • Collaborate with end-users to refine business processes • Utilize LEAN techniques to assess enterprise maturity • Craft compelling value propositions for engagements • Develop ECPs detailing change proposals and benefits Requirements: • University degree in relevant field • Over 12 years of business analysis experience • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills • Strong ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships • Background in Navy or Aviation contexts preferred Utilize your expertise to drive process improvements at Aversan.
