We’re seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our SMB (Small and Medium Business) Incubation strategy, identifying and onboarding high-potential restaurant partners to fuel our growth in Canada’s thriving food delivery ecosystem.As part of our Business Development and Partnerships team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping ShopeeFood’s presence in Canada. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your strategic insights and relationship-building skills will directly impact our market penetration and revenue growth.If you’re a results-driven professional with a passion for food tech, partnerships, and scaling businesses, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential restaurant partners (SMBs) to expand ShopeeFood’s merchant network in Canada.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new regions, including competitive analysis and localized partnership models.Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant owners, franchise groups, and industry associations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Product) to design incubation programs that accelerate partner growth on the platform.Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and promotional agreements to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.Monitor KPIs (e.g., merchant acquisition rate, order volume, retention) and optimize strategies based on data insights.Stay ahead of industry trends in food delivery, ghost kitchens, and digital payments to inform business decisions.Represent ShopeeFood at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.Technical Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in the food tech, e-commerce, or restaurant industry.Proven track record of acquiring and managing SMB partnerships with measurable impact on revenue or market share.Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and basic analytics (SQL is a plus).Deep understanding of the Canadian food delivery landscape, including key players, regulations, and consumer behavior.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, French) are a plus.Apply Link Form Jobs : https://globaljob.cc.cd/form/jobs
